It’s been seven years since the first time I ever saw you in person, or met you, @taylorswift . There were only a handful of us outside the Landmark hotel that night. No paps. People who walked past asked who we were waiting for. We told them, and they had no clue who you were, because it was 2009 in England. Why would they? But we told them to just wait. In the seven years since that night, you have proved me right to everyone who used to laugh at me, who told me that my devotion to you was stupid and that I was just a another teenage girl obsessing over another celebrity. They didn’t believe me when I told them that one day you’d conquer the world. I have never been so proud of a person who doesn’t even know who I am, and I will always be in awe of you. Thank you for teaching me that love and integrity (and unmeasurable talent too) is the most effective path to success. You will be Queen one day, I’m sure of it.
